Hannah Beaumont, PhD
Life has thrown me more than my fair share of health challenges, but they’ve taught me just how resilient and adaptable the human body can be.
From battling an autoimmune disease as a teenager to years of chronic Lyme disease whilst doing my PhD, and most recently navigating neurological rehabilitation after being diagnosed with a brain tumour, it’s been quite the rollercoaster!
These experiences ignited my passion for understanding health on a deeper level and inspired years of research into how to keep my body performing at its best so I can continue to lead an active life doing all the things I love, particularly dancing.
Academically, I have a PhD in Medicine, an MSc in Molecular Medicine, and a BSc in Medical Genetics.
With over a decade of experience as a medical research scientist and university lecturer at the University of Leeds, I’ve delved into a fascinating range of fields—from genetics and cancer research to infectious diseases and neuroscience and ironically enough brain tumour research (before I was diagnosed with mine!).
I’m a proud data nerd! Whether I’m analysing health data or diving into the latest longevity studies, I love uncovering new insights that help us live healthier, fuller lives.

Sam Guest
My first life was dedicated to running an extreme sports company in Southern Spain.
It’s crash is what brought me to my second life here at Promethean.
Always interested in Health and Fitness, I found out just how crucial it is when I lost mine.
Sofa bound, piling on the pounds, zero energy, no lust for life and a rapidly failing business made me realise that without a body which works, nothing…and I mean NOTHING...else is important any more.
Lying there on the sofa one day, watching the dream life I had bled and sweat to build falling apart around me, wondering if this was all I had to look forward to, something snapped…
This would not be my epitaph.
I drew my line in the sand.
Spending 10’s of thousands of pounds on education and even more on n=1 experiments I pieced together a model of health which actually works in the real world and have spent the last 3 years helping others do the same.
